KASHMIR

Kashmir was once a large lake and it was Kashyap Rishi who drained off the water, making it a beautiful abode. Stretched on 84471 sq. miles, Kashmir is surrounded by Pakistan, India, China, Afghanistan and former Russia. Kashmir is more populous than 135 independent countries and territorially bigger than 111 independent countries. Kashmir is home to three religions, Buddhism, Hinduism and Islam.
To authenticate religious diversity Kashmir has three major religious festivals, Muslim’s Eids, Lohri, Baisakhi and Navrati.
The Kashmir region is the most naturally endowed in the whole of Asia. Due to fascinating natural beauty and pleasant healthy climate, Kashmir is called “Nature’s Show-Window” and “Switzerland of Asia”.
Kashmir includes Indian administered State of Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan’s administered Azad Kashmir-Gilgit-Baltistan, and the Chinese region of Aksai Chin.
